The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe Literary Quest
Set against the historical backdrop of WWII Britain, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis invites readers to examine the world and their place in it. Narnia, a magical land discovered by four siblings, is a land of contradictions—beautiful yet dangerous, wondrous but treacherous. In other words, it’s ripe with opportunities to ponder moral questions, reflect on complex characters, and explore rich allegorical elements, all while building reading skills!

No, Literary Quest enrollment does not include a copy of the book. When you enroll, you’ll receive a link to download your PDF Book Guide and accompanying Parent Guide and will be responsible for purchasing or borrowing a copy of the selected text.
We consider Story Seekers a secular curriculum; however, if a literary work incorporates religion, we don't shy away from openly exploring what the author has presented. Whether discussing Christian allegories or Greek mythology, we believe in teaching readers to appreciate diverse perspectives.
We’ve got you! Our founder has worked with ESL students, students with learning differences, twice-gifted students, and typical learners of all ages throughout her teaching career. You'll find suggestions for modifying activities and alternate reading schedules in your supplemental Parent Guide. Beyond that, we encourage you to attend our virtual small-group Book Talks with your learner to help them get the most out of the experience.
Story Seekers is designed to incorporate live virtual Book Talks for a richer experience, but we understand that some families require even more flexibility. You can enroll in a Literary Quest and listen to the Book Talk audio replays at your own pace OR purchase a standalone Book Guide.
Your Parent Guide offers information about assessing your learner's progress throughout the Quest. We invite you to attend Book Talks with your child or listen to the weekly audio recordings of the talks to observe their participation in the discussion. Our favorite marker of success is when a child excitedly talks about the book with you in the in-between moments of their day!
Story Seekers complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and takes your family’s privacy seriously. For more details, please visit our Privacy Policy page. We encourage caregivers to create a login for Book Talks and attend or be nearby when possible. Learners can always use an avatar or pseudonym to protect their identity – they can even choose a name inspired by the current text! If you prefer an entirely screen-free experience, you can access the recorded audio from the live Book Talks on your schedule or purchase the Book Guide only.
Due to the digital nature of our products, there are no refunds for single quests or seasons. Partial refunds are available for full-year enrollment with advance notice. If you’d like to check out our program before you register, we encourage you to experience the first two chapters of our The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Literary Quest for free. If you have questions, please email info@storyseekers.co.
